Starts Saturday, September. 6th, 8 am in the Chapel, and will meet monthly, the first Saturday of every month just before First Saturday Mass.

Who is St. Monica?
St Monica married at a young age to a pagan, unfaithful, and violent man. After years of intercessory prayer, St. Monica’s husband was baptized the year before his death.
Her son, Augustine, had a demeanor quite like his father. he stole, lived promiscuously, and was an alcoholic. But still, Monica prayed for her son. A year before her death, Augustine was baptized. Augustine later became canonized into sainthood.
St Monica is remembered as a model of patience and perseverance in faith. Her feast day is celebrated on August 27th, the day before St Augustine’s. St. Monica shows us how intercessory prayer is so important in our lives.
